Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information, in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
Information Collection and Use
We collect the following categories of personally identifiable information from visitors: IP addresses (as detailed below) and any information you voluntarily provide when communicating with us. We use this information to operate our website, understand audience engagement, and respond to your inquiries.
Website Hosting and Delivery
Our website, its stylesheet runtime, and its font files are hosted and delivered by a German service provider for website creation and hosting. This service provider acts as a processor and stores data on servers in Germany. The web server processes your IP address to deliver the page, but keeps no access logfile per site, meaning your IP address is not written to a logfile by the web server.
Audience Measurement
We use PostHog for audience measurement to count page views, page leaves, clicks, and JavaScript errors. This service keeps a per-visit identifier in your browser's sessionStorage that is erased when the tab closes. The counted events, which include the IP address reaching PostHog in the EU, are kept for as long as the measurement is in use.
Google Maps
Our website includes an embedded map from Google Maps to show our location. The map is loaded when the page is called up, and your browser transfers your IP address to Google in the US. You can prevent this by using your browser's third-party content settings or simply not opening the page.
Enquiry Form
If you use our inquiry form, the details you enter are assembled into a message in your own browser and opened in your WhatsApp or email client. Nothing reaches a server of this site, no email is composed anywhere, and no challenge runs. We only learn of your inquiry once you send that message from your own device.
Third-Party Sharing
We share information with the following categories of third-party entities: service providers (specifically for website hosting and analytics).
Do Not Track Signals and Third-Party Collection
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Other parties, such as PostHog and Google (through Google Maps), may collect information about your activity over time and across different sites when you visit our website.
Reviewing and Requesting Changes
We do not maintain a process for visitors to review and request changes to their personally identifiable information collected through our site.
Notification of Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page along with a new effective date.
